January 5, 2009 Dear Vivian, We had a wonderful time in Martinique. Thank you for making the reservations for us. We were very comfortable at the Fregate Blue. We enjoyed Madame DeLucy very much. She went out of her way to be helpful to us. She provided maps of the island, suggested ways to spend our days and the most memorable: we decided to spend a quiet New Years Eve at the Fregate Blue. She arranged for one of her employes to cook a delicious dinner for us and then didn't charge us for the meal. The view from our room was spectacular. We arrived late in the evening, so when we got up in the morning and opened the drapes we were delighted. The Fregate Blue is on a hillside overlooking the Atlantic. We enjoyed every part of our trip and returned home very rested and satisfied about our well spent days. C.S. N.Y. Thank you!

January 2009 Svend and I wanted to let you know what a lovely holiday we had on Martinique and really enjoyed our stay at Fregate Bleue. Yveline was concerned that the construction was not yet completed, however, our room was excellent, the view magnificent, and the island beautiful, so we were not much bothered by what could not have been prevented in any case. As well, not the least of the attractions of Fregate Bleue is the graciousness, helpfulness, and warm welcome we received from Yveline, her husband and staff. We also enjoyed several dinners including an "opening night" celebration of the new kitchen and dining facilities. We were very pleased and are hoping we can return next winter when we can also see the completed gardens which should be lovely. Thank you for all your help in arranging our reservations.

I'm writing in regard to our recent stay at the Fregate Bleue, in Francois, Martinique, French West Indies. We reserved a room through Caribbean Inns for the dates of February 27th to March 9th,2008
Firstly, I'd like to thank you for your recommendation. The Inn was everything you promised, and more. The location was beautiful and quiet, but easily accessible from the airport at Lamentin. The facilities were more than adequate., and the Inn was very comfortable and well-appointed. The food and service were excellent, and the staff ,.very friendly, charming and extremely accommodating. The quiet and privacy were unequalled, and the view of the bay from our balcony was lovely. ALL in all, a very rela-xing setting, and a great place to get away from it all.
But our highest commendations must go to our hostess, Madame Yveline de Lucy. We could not have imagined a more warm and welcoming person to spend our stay with. She was there to assist us at every turn, always available when we had a question or request. She offered us a wealth of information about the island, and her suggestions of activities and destinations for our days and evenings could not have been more helpful or appropriate. And in addition to all of her generosity~ she spoke excellent English and was very patient and helpful to us with our clumsy attempts at French. She and her husband made our stay better in every way imaginable. After such a wonderful and relaxing stay, we will definitely be returning to Fregate Bleue, as well as recommending it to our friends. Again, thank you for your recommendation of this wonderful inn.
